Inspection of self-propelled artillery

Finally some new characters... from left to right:

1. I. Ernani (very young in this picture)
2. Ma Vlast (a-l-w-a-y-s ---t-h-e-r-e )(standing on the second semovente [i.e. the self propelled gun])
3. Officer K. Tannhäuser
4. A. Fidelio, chief general of the seventh army (he is blind, that is why he keeps his eyes closed [I wonder what kind of inspection can he conduct being like this ...])
5. flying all around: the general's sparrows {[(whose names are: Blue, Black, Red, White etc, even if they are all red) but this is no real problem because the general is blind] and I'm in full delirium}

Fidelio, Tannhäuser, Ma Vlast, Ernani... I think it should be clear now where I pick up my characters' surnames...
